Evito Ball - 25/7/08

My biggest game yet is here - Evito Ball. Collect all coins and make your way to the exit, avoiding lasers, missiles, flamethrowers and heaps of other deadly weapons in over 80 levels. Use the arrow keys to move and shift for a speed boost which you can use every level if you beat the game!

My New Blog! - 16/3/08

Wordpress have made it possible for me to create my own new development blog! Instead of having to manually edit html files to update news, post tutorials and articles, I can now do it easily and quickly on my new blog. I'll post tons of things more often than on this site, so make sure you bookmark it and spread the word.

Agnry Faic 2 - 29/2/08

It's a pretty special day - a day like this only comes around every four years. But who cares about that?! Agnry Faic 2 was also released!!!
It's a massive improvement from it's prequel, where the aim is to get as high as you can with colour coding and emoticon exploding carried on from AF1. Huge thanks to Newgrounds who sponsored the game, as Agnry Faic was born there. |
Squidgy - 25/1/08

My new game is released! It's called Squidgy - play it here. You play as Squidgy - a soft and squishy murdering machine! Use the mouse to smash Squidgy into various enemy types fast enough for them to be destroyed. But be careful, make sure they don't shoot at you. Avoid mines and collect size, speed and shield powerups to try and make past all 25 colourful levels.
Hallpass are the sponsors and Armorbot used for highscores.

Zwingo - 6/12/07

Zwingo is my latest game
released today - for the MaxGames game competition (ending
soon). Big thanks to Deseo for
making the music especially for this game :)
Swing ('zwing') your ball around using the mouse, smashing
all the black balls of screen. Your aim is to protect the
white ball in the centre. If the white ball leaves the boundary,
it's game over. Every 10 levels you'll face a boss that you
have to continually hit until he runs out of health and goes
off screen.
As you hit each ball out you gain experience points (xp).
The harder you hit the ball, the more xp you collect. At
the end of each level you can spend this xp on one or more
of four upgrades - size, speed, white ball size and boundary
area. You'll need to upgrade to face faster, bigger balls
and make it all the way past level 50 to pass the game.
The overall score is calculated as the total xp you collected
throughout the game. Thanks to Armorbot for
the highscore table. Also, the game has a save feature that
lets you come back and play from the same level you left
another time.

Site Redesign - 25/11/07
Welcome to the all new style Kabomb. It's much more cleaner
design and it's much easier to read tutorials and other things.
I've transferred some of the tutorials over from the very
first version, but there are some I have to update and create
yet. I plan to make a tutorial "My First Game" that
starts of at the basics and teaches you how to assemble a
game in my style, which I use because it is most efficient
for me. If you've got the foundations laid, you can go straight
into learning how to randomly spawn enemies, create a gun
with bullets coming out of it and then tie those in together
for a proper game. Then you can learn other things like on-screen-displays,
and all the fundamentals for games like preloaders, menus
and other things. Even if you don't know much Actionscript,
go visit the tutorials page for direction on how you can
learn it.
I've also added another section to the site, Articles.
This has all sorts of Flash related news, tools and just
general helpful stuff you might need in the production of
your Flash game or animation. Some time soon I'll write some
articles up, for example one that teaches you how to create
custom commands or download others for use in the Flash interface.
I'm also planning to cover MochiBot, sponsorship, MochiAds,
V-cams, actionscript editors and flash contests.
All the games and animations are
here too. And the Flathead Collab came out - I did my 2 parts
for this about 6 months ago and it was only submitted recently.
I also did the menu. As for games, Zwingo is due to come
out soon so keep a look out. Another game after that will
be Angry Faic 2! |
